I recent dug up a Kollmorgen 4X scope with the flat grey finish. It has a standard CH reticule. The retired USN Master Chief said he bought it from CMP at Camp Perry in the 1960’s. It’s in near perfect condition, no ring marks etc. There is an electro pencil number that appears to be a NSN#.

Thought I should share it here.

I don’t think that’s a National Stock Number, NSN or Federal Stock Number, FSN. FSN’s were 11 digits, and starting about 1974, the military switched to 13 digit NSN’s. The format doesn’t fit either one of those.
I have one of those Kollmorgens. I think they are 26mm tubes, and I don’t feel like tracking down period Redfield rings.
