labradar tripod base

Looking for the new top that someone is making to mount the labradar above the barrel.

That tripod over the rifle thing looked like a lot of stuff to deal with.. I don't remember where I saw it either so no help on that end. But have you seen The Arkco mount? it folds in your bag and works prone or on the bench.

I'm pretty simple I guess. I just cut a 2"x12" about 18" long and put a 1/4"x20 bolt through it with a nut and attach my LabRadar to that. Super stable in the wind we get out west. I can't imagine how it would ever blow over. If I was looking for something to shoot through like the one linked, I would just get one of the saw horses from the shop and do the same treatment with the 1/4"x20 bolt.

I'll pay the 55 bucks and have something neat, clean, and easy to transport. Something about having a 3500 dollar rifle, 2000 dollar glass, 300 dollar bi pod, 1500 in reloading rear and a 550 dollar lab radar and then running the radar on some 2x4's. I just can't do it.

The 2x4 with some wood clamps is so easy to maneuver with a bench. I got a little bracket off of amazon for 25 bucks, clamps to the 2x4. I can move it where ever I need to and its super easy to adjust. Short barrels I can move it in to the edge of the bench and then the bracket can come back over top of the bench, or I can stick it way out over the edge for my long barrels.

Originally I had intended to clamp it to the bench itself but it doesn’t open enough and the 2x4 actually makes it more manuferable to stick way out there to accommodate the can.
