I ordered a Hornady Lock N Load conversion for my Rockchucker. I was wondering about the repeatability of dies mounted in the LnL bushings?

Re: Lock n Load inserts

We've been using them in our Rockchucker for the past three years and have had no problems at all. Easy in and out with just a twist and accuracy hasn't changed since we added them.

Thanks, exactly what I was hoping to hear.

Re: Lock n Load inserts

I use them in my Lee Classic Cast press. Some dies you may need to swap out lock rings because the system adds height requiring your lock ring to be higher on the die body.

I have been putting them on all my dies. It makes swapping between calibers very fast and easy.

Re: Lock n Load inserts

I find mine to be dead on. Just make sure the adapter bushing doesn't loosen. THAT can cause some length variations but should be obvious when changing dies.
