Yeah, I fear that even though the majority of officers may realize how badly unconstitutional the orders may be and resign, there are too many ambitious officers that will ultimately take up the mantle. Plus, in any such conflict, I'm certain that the grey moral area would be vast, and many would believe that whatever uprising occurred were the real traitors/enemies. I suppose its too extraneous at this point to fully grasp, and I, like most, would have to navigate the nuance to determine the moral course. It's unlikely to be black and white.

Anyways, it's just hypothetical at this point. The comments from AOC make me angry, and they seem to entirely miss the point of a democracy/republic. However, all they are for now is just an ignorant belief that has no teeth.
