Louisiana Trooper Died

A few days ago we had a Louisiana Trooper of Troop D die in a wreck a few days ago. His funeral will be tomorrow.

My whole department is wearing the black bands on the badge today for him

Troop Duane Dalton. A little prayer for the family would be nice and remember those who are out there everyday for you.

Bad news for LSP no doubt, my heart and prayers go out to the family. I had friends that gave it all and knew several others that did the same, even helped carry one to his final resting place. LEO funerals are a sight to behold but, if we never see another one I'd be good with that. It's a hard life being an LEO but you keep moving forward through it all.
