Magnetospeed - crazy #s at low battery?

I was out this morning and getting some crazy SDs (3-4x normal). At least one of these loads is a proven load. Most of the readings looked typical. But several times I got ES that were well over 100 for a 5 shot group, due to one crazy number . Here's an example: 2543, 2717, 2531, 2539, 2548 fps. These were 223 Rem loads, which I never get consistently great SDs; even so... The loads were 0.005" jammed at 2.52" OAL and close to full case capacity of Varget. The only thing I can think is that I had a "low batt" message on my Magnetospeed the last time out and never changed it. Thoughts?

Change the battery.

It's a known thing. Low battery on most measurement tools is not a good thing and the magnetospeed is no different.
