Do many people use these for there deer or general stalking rifles?

Looking to put one on a Remington 700 300wsm, standard profile barrel for hunting deer and the likes here in Australia.

Are they good to hold and shoot off hand?
Not to flat on the fore-end?

They are cheaper than HS and WD stocks here and i reckon there better anyway.

Pictures would be a fantastic help too thanks so i can get a good idea of camouflage choices etc.

Thanks

Dan

I've got a T-3 and love it, you could definatly use it for a hunting set up. I built this one for a multi use rifle and you could easily carry it for a few hours in the morning and in the evening hunting, it's very comfortable and easy on the wrists. I would assume the MCS-T would be equally nice

Look into the ultra light hunter as well </div></div>

Yeah i also took a look at these but don't think i really want a monte carlo stock, just a straight comb.

Thanks mate

So just a sling will do?
No need for flush cups?

Here in Victoria, Australia - Highland country is pretty steep but i don't think ill need flush cups..
Bit of advice would be great

Re: Manners MCS-T for deer rifle?

I like the Manners much better than the McMillian HTG. The comb on the Manners sits much higher than the HTG. Much more positive cheek weld and no need for a stock pack. With the HTG I had to add material under my stock pack to get an acceptable cheek weld. If you order the MCS with 90% carbon fiber you would have a great ultralight hunter.

I do a fair number of general purpose hunting rifles with the Manners MCSL, and for me it's about the perfect general use stock.

I have a hunting rifle built using the T and couldn't be happier. I feel that this stock is well suited for the purpose I intended.
