Re: marlin 917s pics

Very good choice! I had a Winchester .308 that I traded in for my .17 HMR. This is now my new favorite caliber.

MARLIN 917VR

KARSTEN'S ADJUSTABLE TACTICAL CHEEK REST
BUSHNELL ELITE 3200 5-15x50 SCOPE

Re: marlin 917s pics

thanks i think
these 17s are fun i traded around and ended up with this one new, suddenly that streak of trading around stopped. i have marlin 22 mag too but it just cannot out shoot the 17hmr it won't even come close. by the looks of it i'm gonna have to step out a little farther and try this thing at 200 and 300 yds.

the only complaint i have is the marlin trigger. the wife says no more gun or car parts but i'm putting a rifle basics trigger on my want list, maybe she'll reconsider for my bday or somethin.

Re: marlin 917s pics

^ Yeah the factory ones suck. They're like freakin 7 lbs or something. That was the first aftermarket part I got for the 917 was the rifle basix trigger. Plus it gives you a metal trigger instead of the factory plastic one. Get that with some good glass and you'll never want to get rid of it!
