Maybe I'll have better luck with TAC and .308 (OCW included)

I read here that some members have good results with .223 and Ram TAC.
I haven't had the same experience.

I have tried to come up with a precision AR for over a year now.
I replaced the 20" 1-8 stainless J&T Distributing (Wilson air-gauged blank) barrel I had for a 24" Krieger 1-7.7 stainless barrel with a match .223 chamber.
Still nothing to write home about with a couple of loads I arrived at with the old barrel; 23.5 or 24.1 gr TAC behind a 77 gr SMK or Hornady 75 gr BTHP.
I see IMR 4895 gives some decent velocity with .223 so I loaded up an OCW for TAC and I4895.
Now, I know I'm not looking for tight individual groups here, but the I4895 loads put together groups like I've never seen from any AR I've owned, in addition to defining a node that runs practically the entire width of the charge range, to my eye.
The TAC loads were all over the place; I'm not sure what to make of them.
I've heard of some of you having good results with TAC and .308 so I'll try it there, but I'm done with TAC and precision .223 loads.
