Hello everyone from Italy

I have an fn spr.
the thread that holds the cheek piece screws, on the fight side, is damaged because, not having the helicoyls, the metal in contact with the aluminum has worn it out. mc millan sent me 4 steel bushings and 4 elycoils.
Having to ream the hole and thread, I thought of adopting the definitive solution by placing the bushings and fixing them permanently with the epoxy paste.
Have you already done this job? photo? suggestions how to proced?

Thank you

Have you already done this job?
Yes, I bought a used stock, and the helicoils were loose. I used bushings from a hardware store and drilled holes in the stock. I used epoxy to permanently install the bushings. Use mold release/floor wax on the screws. Put tape and support inside the cheek rest channel to prevent the epoxy from entering.
