Ok, I have seen videos of .308 cans on .223's and there is barely a difference. Now can you put a .308 can on a 22LR since I have all the calibers with threaded barrels and just use one can????? Yeah the 22 calibers might be a tad louder but would it be doable? Im new to this silencer stuff. Thanks guys

Re: Money saver question....

Due to the volume the .308 suppressor would provide I'm pretty sure suppression would be good.

.22lr through a 9mm works very well, with the exception of first round pop which is a little significant, and I'm sure 30 cal is a better combination than 9mm as the 30 cal cans are larger and have smaller bores.

Re: Money saver question....

22 LR is a very dirty round. I would recommend against that combination and get a dedicated 22 LR can. Any centerfire (.308 and smaller) would perform fine. If you plan on shooting magnum calibers through it, now or in the future, make sure its mag rated.

I would not recommend it, do a little research and decide for yourself. Lots of good reading out there.

I know how you feel, sir. That's why I voted with my feet.

+1 on this. I would not put my 308 or 223 can on a 22LR. For it, you might want to get something that you can remove the baffle and clean it once awhile.
