Rules:
Put an old 300BLK barrel in a new upper and got a good baseline zero before heading out to the ranch for a real 100-yd zero. POA was the line between the 9 and 8… took longer than it should have to walk the rounds to where I was aiming, but got there eventually.
Saved the middle for some pistol work later.
Carbine gas, so pretty much only good for supersonic loads…which kind of defeats the point of 300BLk … well, for me anyway. But it’s a good barrel and nice to have as a spare on one of the ranch rifles that is almost always used with a 5.56 upper.
