Join contestI think we ate at Edge of Texas on the way back, it was right on the Texas/New Mexico border. That whole area is a very interesting part of the country. We also went to White Sands, this vast white dry desert with nothing but these little white lizards running around. You hop in the car and drive about an hour to Ruidoso (we went to Inn of the Mountain Gods) and all of a sudden, you're in Vermont. Tall trees, green mountains. . .bizarre and beautiful.Stopping in Cornudas for a burger is an interesting experience….
They're all stabby, some just advertise it with ink.If they have tattoos, they're a stabby. If they don't have tattoos, they're definitely a stabby.
When I was at Ft. Bliss in El Paso a few years ago (probably more like 10 now), I drove from there to Carlsbad Caverns National Park in New Mexico. It's a 145 miles on Rt. 62. Once I cleared the City and got on the straight road, I did not see one single car, not one. Not a single other automobile, motorcycle, moped, etc. For probably a 130 some odd miles, not another vehicle, just a long straight road. Glorious!

Peter peppers. That was the most scandalous plant you could raise in a garden when I was a youngun.
Fanta, cassette tapes, and chuck’s….I’m in love.
There needs to be a giant middle finger emoji so I can easily tell you how I feel for reminding me that I am old.
This thong is just my size
I am from that area, there is a little bit of meth or drug related crime in some of them. Finding adequate housing is the issue, that and the wind blows almost every dayYep a few years back we went to Thunder Valley in Colorado to the races. Left Amarillo headed to Raton New Mexico. Passed little towns with 80-150 people in them. Told the wife we should move to one of them. She said: "but there is nothing out here". I said yep! No crime, no nosy neighbors, no traffic. Anything I need can get dropped off by the UPS truck.
I'm still thinking hard about it!![]()
A dog in a ghillie suit with an axe. I am mildly concerned.
Seen small homesteads, pond, tree grove. Just looked like a place to live out our last years.I am from that area, there is a little bit of meth or drug related crime in some of them. Finding adequate housing is the issue, that and the wind blows almost every day

Needs strings from the triggers going inside the cab — just to keep other drivers in line.Came across this guy the other day at a red light. Truck named the Dodge Lodge that has a 4 barrel shotgun as a hood ornament and double barrel shotguns for fender ornaments along with an acme bomb on the roof. Got a good laugh out of it.
