Fact of the matter is, they almost certainly got very generous severance packages per their contracts. Once you ascend to the heights of the corporate/government elites, a very soft, comfortable landing in the event of your being sacked is pretty much guaranteed.

Dorsey had a project he was calling a mobile sink that would allow people to connect all social media platforms easily. Musk is teasing the idea of finishing this. I guess between that and starlink, Musk wants to bring internet and free speech to the world and take government control away.
So the sink stunt was a teaser of what is to come. Musk is sticking his middle finger up to the NWO.
