Muzzle brake affect on gas pressure?

Will adding a muzzle brake to an AR-10 have any affect on gas pressure? Specifically DPMS LR308B.

After installed a JP brake, I was getting some FTE and/or possible stove piping. I may have not had the gas block properly aligned and tight enought. But I was currious if the addition of the brake increases or decreases gas pressure.

I have never seen that to be an issue with a properly installed muzzle brake because the bullet will be all the way out of the bore before the muzzle brake begins to work, and by then everything that is going to happen with your gas system and cycling will already be in motion and occurring (i.e. muzzle brake too late in the process). A suppressor does not typically cause problems that way either although it can yield more blow back after the fact.
