Rifle Scopes Need help with scope

Im want to put a scope on my 308 rifle. Shooting no further than 600yds. 90% of the time Ill be using for 100-300 yards. I have been looking at and really like the Leopold Mk4 MR/T SPR, but have been reading alot of bad reviews lately concerning Leopold. So I am still looking for other alternatives that are similar. Does anyone have any experience with the SS 3-9x42?

Or any other suggestions, but I would like to keep the price under 600 for the scope.

For the purposes stated as well as the price budget i think you were on target with the SS 3-9x42. i am also a fan of MIL/MIL FFP, so thats the way i'd go.
