need opinions...brand new to the game

After doing some reading here I realize I started this venture assbackwards! always wanted to try ELR so I recently bought a new Rem700 north american classic in 300winmag. has a Rem 40-x adjustable trigger,bell&carlson composite stock,26"fluted stainlss tube and suppossed to be guaranteed submoa accuracy? also bought a Schmidt and Bender 5x25x56 w P4f ret. if i can locate primers will try some hor208amax. need all the help i can get so if you got the time I'd really appreciate your thoughts! .300WM is a great choice for a starting caliber if you want to shoot past 1000 yards.

Agree with 208 AMAX bullets. They are awesome in terms of BC. Also, much cheaper than those Bergers, at least for now (and if you can find them).
