Controlled Chaos Arms just finished up this bitchin paint job on my rifle and here is a quick pic he posted on his Facebook (visit his page for higher resolution pics):

Rifle specs are:
Remington 700 action blueprint by Speedy Gonzales GunSmithing of Texas
Factory 22-250 reamed out to AI
Factory bolt with Callahan speed lock assembly and AZ Precision tactical bolt knob
ScoreHi gunsmithing single shot follower
Factory BDL bottom metal
factory old style trigger, tuned to 3*
Bell & Carlson tactical medalist
EGW 20 MOA rail
Barret ZeroGap 30mm Rings
Horus Vision Predator Scope

The rifle is an amazing shooter, the factory barrel shot so great there was no need to rebarrel during blueprint (probably didn't need that either but oh well)
People talk down on the medalist, but they seething but stock snobs. I pm rifles with manners, McMillan and Lone Wolf stocks, and yes they are not the same thing, but the price point cannot be touched. Hope you enjoy!

Re: New rifle paint and specs

I think it almost becomes a habit when you get into the custom rifle world. You buy a rifle only too strip it down and scrap it, sometimes even before checking to see what you have to start with. This factory barreled, "budget" varmint rifle will keep up with my $4000+ Jense Precision rifle in the sub 400 yard range... sometimes makes you wonder....
