Rifle Scopes New Rifle Scope

Re: New Rifle Scope

You have lots of options man, each of which is suited for differing purposes. That reticle just looked like some sort of hash style reticle, so check out the Leupold TMR reticle, Nightforce MLR and various other reticles. Nearly all of the major scope manufacturers have some sort of reticle with hash instead of dots. For what purposes do you need it for? Hunting, target shooting, what exactly? That might help dictate the best reticle for you.

Re: New Rifle Scope

I understand why you like that reticle, but do not waste your money on that scope.

Depending on your budget, you can go with this:
http://swfa.com/Falcon-Menace-4-14x44-Tactical-30mm-Riflescope-P57239.aspx

It is a first focal plane scope, so it will be different than what you are used to. They are a very decent scope. I have run one for a while.

This is dots and hash marks, a very well made scope:

This is exactly what you're looking for and the price is good for a high quality optic:

There's a few different ways to attach an image to your post, here's two. The important part is that the image must be hosted by a site. If you see a picture on google that you would like to share... Follow these steps:
1)click on the website (to follow) underneath the picture which shows where it is hosted. 2)Then click on the picture itself and choose copy (this is the image code).
3)When you are posting, replying etc...click on the box with the picture of a piece of paper with shapes on it (denotes insert image)

4)select how you would like the image to appear (ie. non floating image)
5) a box will pop up with "http://" - paste the image code you have already copied (make sure when copying than your code does not contain http:// or delete it from the pop up box.
6) click ok
7) it will embed this sequence at the beginning and end of your code so it appears in your post:

Another option is to use a hosting site (eg. photobucket.com) for your own images. Going this route, there will be a set of links next to all of your pictures when looked at individually... Copy and paste the one titled "image code" directly into your post, it will embed the imaging brackets automatically.

Re: New Rifle Scope

Save your money and get a 2.5-10x44 Viper PST. I bet you can find one for ~ $500. Here's the reticle:
