I just got the call that my stamp has been approved for my AAC 762 SDN-6. I want to put it on my Rock River LAR-8 elite operator. I have the threaded flash hider installed but I was wondering if I need to modify anything with the gas system or do I just twist it on and go? Really anxious to go try it out but I am nervous that I may damage the gun if the gas block needs to be changed/tuned.

Thanks!

I prefer the idea of finding a configuration that works well both ways, instead of the adjustable gas block. Meaning the right combination of buffer, spring, etc.

I tried an H2 buffer with mine and it was somewhat unreliable so I said whatever and went back to the base configuration. It's as gassy as my dog, but I don't really shoot it that much anyway. I prefer my bolts. If I shot it more I might bother with an adj gas block, but right now I don't care.
