Rifle Scopes Nightforce F1 Mill Spec for everyone except bth87

no offense to bth87 I'm just trying to avoid the "Sweet Mother of God" replies.

I found some of these mill spec F1's for sale for around $2200.00. Pretty pricey. Anyone here have anything good or bad to say about them? I'm leaning towards getting one, just wanted to hear from those in the know. Thanks.

No really. I love mine. But yes it's pricey. For most applications the fact is an F1 is not needed.

I like mine. I'd say it's worth more than the 200 dollars you'd save on a vortex razor HD, right?

I saw a video about these and the guy said to get the civilian model because you cannot make changes to the military model. What changes would he be talking about? Why would the military get them if these changes cannot be made? I need some clarity on this. From the video and everything else I've read these are awesome scopes. Just trying to figure out do I want the military model or the civilian model. Thanks in advance for your time and replies.

If you wanted to change reticles or turrets for a reason; you cannot on these! Glued in.

They are pretty much gone, if a dealer doesn't have one in his hands odds are he won't get one. It was a limited thing and they are pretty close to sold out.

Lol when I read your title....

I was lucky enough to pick one up a few months ago. I'm very pleased with mine, and await the larger magnification scopes to get FFP.

I really like mine. Replaced a USO with it to compare. The glass is great and the quality seems top notch.

Yes, can't change...they are theoretically manufactured to a higher standard with glass and durability. I have one, it's nice. They make an F1 with MLR2 as well.

I'm happy with mine. It says US ARMY on bottom. There is a great thread on this topic from when they came out.
