The thing you rotate to empty all your powder out of the hopper just broke off my chargemaster. The majority of it is down in an 8lb tub of h4350. I've got powder every damn where. Anyone got a replacement fix for this that's not a new scale?

If all else fails... rubber stopper.

I thought of the rubber stopper also, but the problem is that it's a semicircular opening and cutting rubber stoppers cleanly is not an easy task with ordinary hand tools. The same issue exists with cork, though it is somewhat easier to cut if you have a very sharp blade.
Maybe remove the rest of the plastic on the chute to make it a round hole? Seriously, though, this suuuuucks.
Also worth considering would be something like taking the piece that broke off, drilling a small hole through the center, then drilling a hole in the center of the chute crossbar, and using a pop rivet to re-attach the "valve"/disc. Alternatively, you could probably make another valve/disc out of some sheet metal and attach it either with a screw or a pop rivet.
Call rcbs and explain that it cracked and fell off in a move or something and see if they will mail you a new one. They did that for me in my clear plastic hooper tube when it broke.
I was so pissed last night. I just twisted like always to drain it and it popped off. Half the part that holds in on didn't make it into the jug. The rest is mixed in about 7 lbs of powder that I'll have to dig out later. I just had to walk away last night lol.
Spife has the right idea, but if that doesn't work out, I think that Burnout may be on to something. I'll take a look at mine tonight and see how difficult it would be to fabricate a replacement piece and attach it. I do not think that I would want to remove more material from the body of the machine, which is where the semi-circular hole is located.
I'll give them a call today and see what they say. The sheet metal idea reminds me I have some cadweld copper shims that would be really easy to work with and might work. I tried a few random lids of medicine bottles with no luck of something snapping right on.
You can't beat their customer service with a fucking stick. Sending me a dispenser with a bad motor so I can swap the drain tube assembly.
