Older Swaro SLC vs Newer SLC

I have acquired a set of Swaro SLC 15x56 that are circa 2008. I'm upgrading from lower end Vortex. I'm certain there has been improvements over the last decade, My question, how much better is the modern day version?

Short answer is there has been a significant improvement. I have owned both. The new ones are sharper and brighter.
