A good way to find something new that you like is to go and setup a free account at Pandora.
They'll let you setup virtual stations based on artists that you've liked in the past, and then they'll play a mix of your favorite old artists and new artists with similar styles.
As they are being played, you can tell them what songs you like and which ones you don't.
Pretty soon, you'll be hearing songs from new artists that sound like they were made just for you.

Jeff Healey is right in that genre, err was RIP.
Robben Ford is another.

I could name a bunch more modernized of the same, being more next gen, but I think it might be too uptempo and frenetic.
