I had already signed the petition for more examiners to decrease wait times. Well, I signed this one too! This is the better option, though I don't see it doing a whole lot of good with the current administration. I'd be happy if either one happens. It's better than having a 6 month wait time.

Good petition... this would be sweet... although i think the govt. is too greedy to ever cut taxes. But its worth a shot.

It may have made a better argument to list the other countries who have stricter gun laws than the US, but do not regulate suppressors as a controlled item. Just throwing them in with earmuffs and safety glasses seems a bit weak IMHO.

Go back to the top of THIS page and hit the link again, sign in again and you'll see a button to hit to sign the petition.

I'm not the one who made the thing, I'm just passing it on. There are people here who are willing to try to get something done, and the more who show their support, the better.

I agree with this. The argument is not strong enough. There is to much Hollywood hype among the left. I have a pro gun control friend and he thinks that suppressors are strictly for killing people without being heard.

I signed it anyway.

I'm on the fence about signing it and the one for SBR's I like that they shouldn't be controlled the way they are, but it also may take them away from others. If a state came out and had a ban, since they were no longer a nfa item, or deemed them out of reach some other way such as having their own tax of say $500.00-$1000.00 fee, those that could have had them now won't.
