Suppressors Please help educate me on .357 cans

Hey Guys,

So I picked up a lever action .357 mag as a fun steel target gun and now I want to put a can on it. I am pretty confused about what 7.62, 36 cal, 9mm cans working with .357. Form what I gather .45 can is the proper guaranteed to work way to go but of course I don't own any .45 cans. I recently saw with a quick google search that that someone was running an Enticer Ti on a .357 lever gun and by chance I have an Enticer Ti but im to scared to try it as logically .357" is larger than .308" I also have a 9mm can and these seem to be alot more accepted for 357 use but still technically 9mm is a hair smaller than 357. I also have a Hux Flow Range 36 in jail.

So I guess my question is what is the proper size can for a 357? and can you get away with a 36 cal can or 9mm can?

The Hux Flow 36 will do well with 38 Spl or 357 Mag ammo.

ECCO Machine makes a can that works specifically well on lever guns. The name evades me, but its listed on his site. It's sized properly on the OD so as to not be totally obstructing of the sights.

You already have your answer in jail now and when you get it it will work fine. Shouldn’t be long with wait times now. I got my Flow Range 36 in about 3 days.

I'm not sure if all 9mm pistol cans are rated for 357 Mag, I'm sure 38 Spl would be fine though.

Yeah, I think it would be more accurate to say most. Assuming that we’re talking about a lever gun with a 16”+ barrel, I think the majority should work just fine.

He already has a HuxWrx Flow Range 36 in the works. He doesn’t need anything else. That will handle anything he can throw at it.
