    Holy crap. It's really hard to pick the "stand-out" idiot among the democratic line-up for President. It's like they're trying HARD to "out-stupid" each other.

    How did THIS guy become a billionairre??? Fortunately, this video is only about 2 minutes, but in those 2 minutes, Bloomberg reveals himself as abjectly STUPID and utterly incapable of beating Trump. Though, I'd submit that NONE of the dem candidates have a snowball's chance at this point.

    I have a hard time seeing him win the dem nomination. but common sense says he will have regional support and most likely the support the support of moderate dems who have not yet signed on to socialism.
    Best case is not nominated, but stays in as independent.
    Fucking mouth breather has way too much money. Pisses me off more than anything, is how people cannot see through and continue to follow the same path.

    Dude is a douche bag but taxing sugar and fast food, assuming the money would go directly to Medicaid, is a great idea. Diabetes is a huge problem and even if a tax doesn't change people's lifestyle choices, at least it could help pay for dealing the long term consequences. I know that none of the money will end up in the right place.

    I would pay for a ringside seat if Bloomberg would go to West Virginia and stop by a bar and a church and explain his agenda that might end his campaign real quick (come to Jesus meeting).
    Or optionally slide over to the hood
    in Chicago (the hood which is most of Chicago) and suggest they give up their legal/illegal guns and sugary drinks and drugs or he is going to put a huge tax on them.
    See if they welcome him with open arms (no pun intended).
    He could tax the homeless for their own good that should fix places like unsan F..

    While on a superficial level I don't necessarily disagree with you, on a fundamental level I'm sick and tired of politicians trying to "save us from ourselves" and taking it upon themselves to decide what is best for us.

    Fuck that bullshit. We elect these motherfuckers to serve us, and implement the changes the general electorate wants. It's not the other way around.

    The government has forgotten who they work for, and how this whole arrangement is supposed to work.

    I don't think blowberg thinks he can win not sure what his angle is otherwise he would have been in early on hedging his bet to not having to debate or looking for survivors. Maybe he wants VP to further his communist agenda?
    I hope he helps the economy out and spends as much of his cash as possible.

    I loved Steve Ford when he proposed this in 96. I was a school kid and stumped for him and Lamar Alexander. Loved his down home way and flannel shirts.
    Went to the state convention as a Jr Delegate. Learned a lot and even then learned Rebuplicans say a lot and do very little.
    Not sure either were the guy, but Bob Dole was a dolt.

    At least the Democrats are starting to tell people what they actually think and what they actually want to do. It’s insanity, would never work and hopefully if they continue to start to tell what they are really want all of the ignorant followers will see just how bad they are. I know it’s wishful thinking, but we have a better chance at reversing some of the thinking if people start to see the truth of what these liberals want to do.

    Part of how these people get so rich is by getting people to believe that they hate rich people and corporations and they are looking out for the lower/middle class, all while doing what they say they are against and happily taking the money and the support of the people they are fooling and about to screw over.

    I agree that we should have a flat tax or at least a system where everyone pays something. Even if there is still some sort of scale on how much people pay, there shouldn’t be people who pay zero or worse people who get paid by the government for nothing. It kills me when my brother gets a tax return for more than he payed in the entire year just because he has a kid and is a single parent. Having that kid using tax funded schooling means he is actually using more taxpayer funded goods than I am yet he gets paid more for doing so. I am not suggesting that people who have kids should have to pay more or anything like that, but I don’t think that not having a kid should mean I pay more.

    The government wants everyone to have kids, so you get credits etc for them, and when that kid hopefully becomes an adult and has a full time job, the govt gets their ROI from giving you credits ;)

    Not having a kid means you pay more as you are not providing any future tax payers into the pyramid scheme
