That almost sounds "cheaper than dirt..."

Cheaper Than Dirt - America's Ultimate Shooting Sports Discounter

I guess the panic is finally (and truely) over. If you still need mags for your ar rifle (where have you been?), can't find them anywhere else (weak googlefu), and can stomach the process (warning, some here will call you a traitor...), well you've got the link.

    Remember, they are an "investment..."

They yank out the dust cover, lower the price and charge another $2.74 if you want the dc. My guess is they are also going to bend you over on shipping.

It was Magpul that decided to stop shipping the Gen2 mags with dust covers...
    PMAG® MAGAZINES - PMAG® 30 AR/M4 GEN M2 MOE®, 5.56x45 Magazine

The GEN M2 MOE is identical in form and function to the older model PMAG except that the optional Impact/Dust Cover is now sold separately.

Shipping on 15 pmags to my zipcode was estimated at $14.72 (Ground home delivery 3-5 day)

Another "reputable vendor" with a location near CtD sells the mags for $15 each, and shipping to my zip code is estimated at $19.42 for 15 mags (USPS Priority).
They do, however, offer a 110% price match guarantee...

Dirt is surely "the Ultimate" . But certainly not the "ultimate shooting sports discounter".

    Ultimate rip off maybe.

After their $100+ mags back last year. No Thank You.

While $100 is surely ludicrous for a $12 piece of plastic, do you show the same resolve when gasoline, diesel, electricity, water, fuel oil, natural gas, coal, etc fluctuates in price? Don't fool yourself. All of these commodities are affected by disasters and tragedies.

If memory serves, another well respected vendor was selling these mags at their "jerk proof (?)" (I don't remember what the name was) price of near $40. (They did claim to send the difference between "normal prices" and enhanced prices to the NRA.)

Hpw much are they, the link isn't working for me? If theyre cheap I dont care whos selling them.

$9.72 + applicable taxes and shipping.

That's an awesome price!!! I throw the dust covers away anyways, they're useless to me in the field. I don't care what CTD has done price wise in the past I just care what the price is now. Most everyone will agree too, you're not gonna pay more out of "principal", bottom line is always the money.

@#$% Cheaper Than Dirt and the horse they rode in on...sideways!!!!

If you need them and they are a good price for you, by all means, go forth and support those price hiking dirtbags, but just remember their LONG and distinguished history of raping and pillaging customers right, left and center before/during the Clinton AWB, every major politicized tragedy in the country's recent past and at every possible opportunity in between. Those @#$%ing clowns are some of the worst offenders in the industry when it comes to taking advantage of their customer base during certain times and yet, for whatever reason be it greed, stupidity or something else, people still continue to throw money at them.

If I may...please consider another alternative to the douche-nozzles at CTD. Check out WesternSport out of TX (no help to you hlee as you'll get stuck paying TX sales tax) which also has all of their Gen2, 30rnd PMAGs in stock and available for $9.95/mag, plus a flat S&H rate of $4.95/order. See here: Tactical Shooting | Magazines | AR-15 | Magpul | Surefire | Western Sport Online

I have had nothing but the best service/experiences from them since I began doing business with them and have no hesitation recommending them. Inventory is real-time on their new site so if the quantity is listed...the stuff is available for purchase.

    Good luck (and @#$% CTD)!!

I have more pmags that my kids and I will ever need so I am not really in the market. But, I get the email flier fro CtD and cannot resist looking. Love them or hate them, they are the "canary in the mine" when it comes to the firearms market.
