I expect to take fire...but I have made an effort at searching...at the cost of being redundant...I very much, would like to build a 308,gas gun on a POF upper,MMR rail,in a di system...from what I can gather, the bbl nut is the only machine modification required...would some one please weigh in and expound on this...thanks a ruck load...!

Re: pof mmr conversion to di..

I see no reason any modification would be needed. The op rod is basically the same as a gas tube going from the gas block into the upper. Hole should be the same/same.

Then just a low profile gas block, gas tube, and standard carrier group and you should be gtg.

Expensive, Crazy, but gtg.

Re: pof mmr conversion to di..

Sorry for lack of clarity... I have nothing yet, except an affliction for POF quality...and of course a lust for their forend / upper MMR system...so it would be from new, purchased parts...I have read of it being done before with mention of having to modify bbl nut...which is a non issue...just was looking to see the entire scope of project before I start spending money...
