Yeah, well he tried to run for President as a Democrat, so that is what you get. That said, I think he may have won if not for the mask mandate. He is an excellent retail politician, and has won here many times. Definitely gets the "who do you want to have a beer with" vote. But he got crushed, thankfully.

I happen to agree, thought I thought the dog and pony show that went on for the first few months was awful. Informed people understand that at the federal level there is little ability to force action on people, or at least there should not be that ability. Trump was at his best in resisting the lure of that kind of power.
I was just out at Home Depot and a guy saw my license plate on my truck. He came over and asked me if that meant what he thought. I told him yes. He shook my hand and thank me for not being a "nambe pambe" and not afraid to show my patriotism. We talked for a few minutes and he told me he knows of no one who voted for Biden and told him the same thing. He's slightly younger than me but I think he'd be a true patriot and ready to fight if it came to it.
