I'd like the power to simply send people like that away to someplace they would really feel welcome. Someplace with a total ban on firearms for all, so he can feel safe. Of course, that ALSO means he would have to give up any other freedoms he takes for granted - that the firearms WE HAVE keep for him. People like that deserve to live somewhere else. It's just unfortunate for them and us that we can't help them get there.

She was late to her college class, that was celebrating her soon to be graduation as a PHD in medicine. The knife was for the cake and she accidentally bumped into the police. She was running from police out of fear of her life. Police are known to be violent and kill people (insert George Floyd here). She was running from fear due to hate, social racism, and constructive racism that she's had to endure her whole life.
CRT and defunding the police could have prevented this. Also, social equity as well as SCHOOL equality will prevent this. :whistle:

Why? You don't think the fed don't see your 20 withdrawals in 20 weeks? If the feds are looking at you, there's nothing you can do. Since I buy with cash, I can easily show where my money goes. Maybe not all of it, but a large percentage at least.

BTW, if you're buying a vehicle, DO NOT tell them you are paying cash until after you agree on a final price.

I'm not talking about trying to hide anything in your banking, I'm just simply saying that instead of freaking out and trying to grab it all at once and having to figure out which branch has it and such, why not simply be always taking out some nice and easy from the ATM or whatever to slowly build your cash reserves and then replenish them if you use some.

A lot less hassle, plus if you make it a habit, it becomes an easy way to have a second savings pile going on that increases regularly.

And the reason you keep all the receipts is so when the police try to rob you at gunpoint, you have a better chance of getting your money back (after you spend more money on lawyers to tell the thieves to hand it back over).

Showing where your money goes is not really a big deal, what you need to be able to show is where you got the money from because if you can't then they will try to rob you of it.

Also trying to buy a car with actual cash runs into the whole reporting thing and a lot of folks don't like having to fill out all the reporting forms and you have to give more info etc. But you can simply bring a cashier's check and all good without needing to do any extra reporting.

You don't know how bad it is today on the east coast. I had a doctor's appointment today for 8:30. Due to the weather, I got on the road at 7:30 for a trip that takes about 25 minutes. After an hour on the road, I made it to about 3 miles from my house. Waze told me my arrival time would be 9:54. I turned around, cancelled the appointment (which is going to cost me $150) but I was not going to sit in traffic for 2 and a half hours for a 25 minute trip.

The rain is coming down in buckets and we have a sustained wind of about 20-25 mph with gust probably near 40 mph. I passed a McDonalds and the parking lot was complete full. I'm sure it was folks getting off of 95 and waiting out the traffic and weather.

This is the worst I've ever seen traffic in my lifetime. It took the wife 2:45 minutes to get to work and it takes no more than 45 minutes on a bad day.
