I must be broken. I'm getting over my 3rd case of Covid. First one was just a cold, second one almost killed me and this time was something in between. However this 3rd time was complicated by many factors.

I had a heart attack on November 4th. Had surgery and was home recuperating. Couldn't breathe and found out I I had congestive heart failure with fluid overload, which meant my heart was encased on a large sack of fluid. Went into the hospital again and had non stop dialysis for 2 days. Came home, had Thanksgiving dinner and came down with Covid.

Between the new meds and Covid, I had some wild side effects. Dizziness and lack of energy was and still is the most difficult issue I have to deal with. Fell getting on the toilet and couldn't get up. I laid there until my strength returned. Very humiliating. I can't get up and my wife is freaking out. I finally had enough and told her to shut up and let me regain some energy.

Heart attack, CHF with fluid overload and Covid. Okay Lord, I've had enough. Let me rest for awhile before I'm challenged again!

I have come out of this valley with the help of my Lord. What doesn't kill me makes me stronger. Thank you Lord!

He is on a PAID leave and still had money to attend a "Kink" conference so he has money to go to court.

How exactly should they be "targeting" the corrupt officials? Peaceful protest? Using their "voting voice"? Everyone knows that election was corrupt - the police were protecting the mass ballot dumps this time.

We are all exercising incredible self-control during trying times... knowing full well that life will most likely become much more difficult in the not so distant future.

So when and if Russia completely overruns his country and he's tried and convicted as a "war criminal" in a Russian court, is he going to pray to God or the Western powers to save him from the hangman's noose?

"For thus said the LORD of hosts, after his glory sent me to the nations who plundered you, for he who touches you touches the apple of his eye." (Zech. 2:8 ESV)

So he has bowel cancer s/p surgery and a broken coccyx. Reasonable explanation for soiling oneself. Ours falls upstairs and defecates himself without colon cancer or broken tailbone.

So “Mandate” doesn’t really mean every one?

Kind of seems arbitrary and capricious.

How about equal treatment under tyranny?

Subject: Revised COVID-19 Vaccination Policy

*** SUPERVISORS AND MANAGERS ***
PLEASE POST THIS EMAIL AND ATTACHMENT ON ALL DEPARTMENT BULLETIN BOARDS

Colleagues,

On August 19, 2021, Governor Baker issued Executive Order No. 595 implementing a COVID-19 vaccination requirement for all employees within the Commonwealth’s executive branch agencies. For the reasons outlined in the Executive Order, the MBTA determined that achieving full vaccination of its workforce was the most effective way to ensure its continued long-term ability to provide the full measure of transportation services to the general public. As a result, the MBTA issued a COVID-19 Vaccine Policy – Policy No. 7.23 requiring full vaccination of its workforce.

Since the issuance of the initial COVID-19 Vaccination Policy, over 90% of the MBTA’s workforce has been vaccinated and additional vaccines, targeted boosters, and other treatments, such as antivirals, have become available. These have contributed to making COVID-19 a more manageable illness for the vast majority of individuals who contract it. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has recently concluded that “high levels of immunity and availability of effective COVID-19 prevention and management tools have reduced the risk for medically significant illness and death.” In addition, we now know that being vaccinated does not prevent an individual from contracting or transmitting COVID-19. In fact, as of November 9, 2022, the CDC guidelines regarding quarantine and isolation are the same for vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals.

Given this information and guidance, as of today, December 2, 2022, I am rescinding the MBTA’s COVID-19 Vaccine Policy – Policy No. 7.23. The MBTA continues to urge employees to be fully vaccinated and boosted, as recommended by the CDC, to help ensure employee well-being and our continued long-term ability to provide the full measure of transportation services to the general public. In addition, the MBTA has revised its Face Covering and Workplace Protocols Policy – Policy No. 2.4 to align with the rescission of the COVID-19 Vaccine Policy.
