I listened to a preacher talk about what hell might be like for those people who either killed babies, supported it, voted for it, or killed them while wearing black robes on the judge's bench.
He said that, in addition to all the pain and torment, they would have to listen to the screams of billions of babies for all of eternity.
Let that sink in for a minute. Every part of their bodies are burning. They probably feel like their eyes are on fire even though they are in complete darkness. Their throats are burning even though they are screaming.
Yet like the babies they murdered, nobody will hear their screams. The pain and the screams of babies never stops.
In the meantime, those murdered babies are with the Lord of Hosts. When he comes back, he's not going to be very happy. Those babies like all the other saved ones are part of his cavalry.
Amen. And knowing that hell awaits them gives me a warm fuzzy. I am not perfect, I am a sinner like anyone else. And thankful to God for the good things and bounty in my life. In the same way that earthly words cannot describe the wonders of heaven, they cannot describe the horrors of hell. Especially for those responsible for souls other then their own.
Every mother that had an abortion will be constantly reminded of the one or more babies that she killed. Every doctor will be reminded of the hundreds or thousands that he killed. Every politician will be responsible for every baby killed as a result of his/her policies. Every judge, every president, every voter. . . And it won't be a memory that is gone in a couple minutes while they get busy with life. It will be front and foremost for eternity.
The Bible tells us not to be envious of the prosperities of the wicked because they will have their reward eventually. (paraphrasing). And that God is the supreme source of justice. But it does us good to see a little justice in this wasteland.
