However, that was a direct assault on our sovereignty and COULD be looked upon as an act of war. The rest of the world needs to see real "shock and awe" on this, if all this is indeed true (and I feel sure it is) and we need to make a statement that despite them (formerly?) being our closest ally, no f's are given to people that betray our sovereignty and Republic.

I have never heard of "emissions" testing for fire engines going into Cali. I know that pretty much every agency will test engines and equipment for safety/work standards before they are allowed on the line. The inspection ensures everything works. Worst thing is an engine shows up and can't get pressure out a hose.

This is because as of 2 years ago, all trucks operating in and entering CA have to be 2010 EPA compliant or better. So if you have an older truck and hauling a load to CA, you have to stop at the border and are not allowed to enter.
And, in true fashion of idiots in pretty much any elected office or appointed office (state/country independent), there is no "exception" for dire circumstances and emergency. Unreal.
