Whoa, you've got me salivating!

Can you give any idea how much a Bartlein re-barreling including smithing should run on a RPR in 6.5 CM? Thanks kindly......

Nice rig, love that mini Badger bolt handle. What BR kit are you running in the mag?

My first post on Sniper’s Hide was in this thread, of this gun with 3 different 6.5CM barrels from PVA on it.
I just received a custom 28” x 1.25”Ø 6BR Norma cut rifled barrel from KS Arms in Edmonton Canada, and later this month, when my Archimedes action and two stage TT Diamond gets here, one of those 6.5 barrels will go back on my Nucleus, and I’ll have 2 rifles to drop into this JAE-700.

Thanks, I'm considering an actual AI AT and I'm trying to gather as much info as possible.

I am also considering upgrading my Bravo to a W-3 back end.
I got an AT in .308 a while back and then bought a couple of 26" Bartlein .260 barrels. Best rifle I've ever owned and was 1/3 MOA accuracy out of the box. It's one of the few rifles where I've never once thought..... "I just wish this one thing was different". There's nothing I would change about it.

Beanland Custom 7 SAUM build.

25.5” Brux #5 1-8.5” twist
AG Composites Alpine Hunter with 14.25” LOP
Defiance Deviant GA Hunter and Nitrided Bolt in XM length with Defiance BDL Bottom Metal
TriggerTech Primary
Kampfield brake blended to barrel
Patriot Brown Cerakote
NF NX8 4-32 F2 in NF low UL Rings
MKM scope level

I’ve got 90 rounds down the tube and no complaints. Shooting 180 Berger Hybrids at 3,000 FPS. Nice node and great accuracy. Can’t wait to hunt this rifle!

What's the weight on that thing?

What's the weight on that thing?
Right at 10 lb as shown.

I was really hoping XLR would make the carbon chassis with a magnesium option to shed another half pound but no luck. I just really liked the look and feel of the carbon versus the element or envy.

Include an 18-20-in barrel (not available in proof research prefit) and a lighter than current 22 oz scope with chassis savings could have put me as much as a pound down.

Throw in a titanium action and fluted bolt for good measure and I'd have pulled about as much as possible out.

My latest rifle is in, and I hope to shoot it tomorrow. I ordered a barreled action from Caleb at Alpha and Omega and my God it impressed me. I can't recommend him enough... my 9yr daughter wants to use this one for her black bear this year now.... even she is smitten with it. The Rex Silentium can matches so well..

She finally got to play on the big range today. Getting the range card put together. Actually much steadier to shoot than the RPR. 800 yards, piece of cake. MPA/ BAPro. 6.5 Creedmoor, older 6.5 x 20 Leupold, Leupold rings and Atlas bipod.

What Tikka is it?
Super Varmint?
Are you going to do the lefty mod on the chassis, or drop it to the gun smith?
I have 3 Whiskey, get the ARCA spigot, you will love it ;)

It is the lite stainless. Couldn't get what I wanted (left handed stainless 6.5 creed) any other way in the US.

I bought my bench vise from a local guy with a machine shop and he said I could come and use his machines sometime. He does some gun related stuff already.

I might get the spigot later once I can shoot it in the chassis. Also thinking of getting some products from Sterk. I've got awhile to go till I need to change the barrel but it'd be nice to get one that I can thread 5/8. Eventually want to get a thunderbeast can that will fit it as well.

Its taken me a few years just to get this far and the wife is annoyed at how much I'm into guns. Next gun related purchase is going to be a RRS tripod since the wife can use that for camera stuff as well. She wants to get into macro stuff.

I don’t know how much, but yeah. At least until I get another stock/chassis and optic.
The BR posted this on shots 45-50 at 200 yards the other day, and I called the 5th shot, so I don’t know how often I’ll want to shoot the creed...

Did ks do the chambering and prefit to your action or just a blank and had someone else chamber

I see they are starting to offer other action prefits but requested a few to be sent in
Yes, initially, Mike had asked for the action. I asked if I sent him the tenon print if he could make the barrel from that, and of course, being a machinist, his reply was, “absolutely!” But to time the the engraving to the side of the gun, he’d need the action or one of my old barrels. Originally I was going to send him a barrel, but eventually I told my OCD to get fucked, and told him to just engrave it anywhere. I’ll live with it.

Figured i should build a bolt action because why not.

24" Oregon Mountain Carbon fiber barrel 6.5 Creedmoor (Remage) 1:8 twist
Remington 700 Stainless, Trued, Lapped.
Greyboe Phoenix stock
Timney Trigger
Vortex Viper PST Gen 2 5-25x (got a good deal for $799 Showroom demo)

Nothing too fancy but i wanted something that i could take hunting and performed well on a bench rest.

Eager to take it to the range
