Precision shooting at night

I'll be shooting a match next weekend that involves a night stage. I'm running a vortex razor hd with no night vision. I've never shot at night before and this will be my first time doing it. What are some good techniques I can practice before hand? Is it possible to spot your rounds in the dark? Any other advice or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

They usually illuminate the target, unless it has a stage gun with NV on it.

Any night shoot in a match I have shot the target is lit.

Or there is some other type of target indicator - I was at one match and they had a light stick set up and was told the target was 1 mil below the light stick. Dialed the dope and put the 1 mil high mark on the light stick.

Be sure to have a red or green head light of some sort. Do some dry practice finding a mag and inserting it in the dark, that sort of thing.
