Rifle Scopes Price Check

I have been looking to throw a scope on my AR Varminter for a while now(always got sidetracked on other little projects) but Im finally serious about getting it done, I was able to find a shop that has a used Leupold 3.5X10 with the duplex recticle and target knobs for $375 out the door...good deal or not?? I think its fair but I guess Im looking for a second opinion, I havent actually seen the scope but the shop owner says you cant tell it from new. Thanks for any help

I would say it's a fair price, but just that.

I think it's just a fair price if the condition is as described and if it has all paperwork, box etc. There are several for sale here in the same price range. I recently sold a Vari-X III 6.5-20X40 with target dot LNIB for $350.

All depends upon which model it is specifically. You have not really given enuff info to give an opinion. VX-1, II, III, Rifleman, Mark 4?

Personally, I think it's too high for that scope. You can get a better, higher powered Nikon or Vortex for that price. I just got a 6-20x44 Viper from Midway USA with basically that same reticle for $279.
