I'd like to be able to offer QD, flush mount swivels on my wood stocks- but cannot find any offerings other than Uncle Mike's and Pachmayr. The Pachmayr requires a 9/16" hole (UM doesn't specify, but it looks about the same)- no problem on the forend, but on a buttstock with a lot of taper at the toe that's far too massive a hole and it would probably look like shit by the time it were recessed enough to hide it.
It would be nice to be able to lose the swivels/studs when shooting off bags- is there another option with less massive female hardware?
