I can't say enough good things about R and B rifles. Rich Hacket is incredibly patient and generous, and I feel privileged to have worked with him.
I did not break in this rifle and have only shot the factory Hornady 140 A-max loads out of it with great results. I average 1/2 MOA with the factory stuff, which has quelled my desire to reload... for now.
Last Saturday I took it out to the PCPR match before I had even put 75 rounds down the pipe or taken it past 100 yds. The night before the match I did some sketchy chrono testing and had a general idea of where the velocity would be, but I was not at all confident. The first stage was a cold bore shot with a choice of engaging a 10" 565 yd target (20 pts) or a 12" 500 yd target (10 pts). I opted for the 500 yd target and and absolutely nailed it. At that moment, I knew it was going to be a good day of shooting, which it was. I ended up tying for 2nd and couldn't have been more impressed with the performance of the rifle.
Here are some pics. (Pay no mind to the crappy Krylon paint job)
