Finally got pictures up of my Remmy sps varmit 308

Rem 700sps varmit 26inch barrel
Bell and Carlson medalist A2
Hawke Optics 6.5x20
EGW 20 moa
Burris Extreme Tactical Rings
Barrel Lapped

Bolt made by Bob at predator custom
All work done by Jim Ruiz and Bob at Predator

I know it's not five shot groups but for me I was pretty pleased with the way the gun was shooting I will update it monday when I go to the range and do five shot groups. I'm just getting into precision shooting and This is my first experience with a REAL GUN

We are just saying. the last time someone posted 3 shot groups it did not end well for them.

I'm not posting for marksmanship capabilities because I'm no where near that. I was just showing my new gun and a couple of pics, besides I very well understand the five shot rule but it seems many folks disregard that rule on here. But like I said I will update with five shot pics, right now I have a fellow that is a former sniper working with me to get my basics down and he's got me shooting three shot groups

Nice shooter. I will say people will rant about this, but your were just showing us. Appreciate you showing us some targets too always nice to see some. Next time shoot 5 groups though 3 shot groups can be luck getting them nice and tight together. 5 will show that you're more consistent (hence the more shots) lol.

If you don't mind, what other work did Predator do other than the bolt install? Did they bed the barreled action in the stock? Thanks.

Thanks. </div></div> They lapped the barrel, bedded the stock, mounted scope and hardware, took the rifle to the range did a barrel break in and zeroed the scope and provided a proof target. All this was done for a very reasonable price compared to what others quoted me to do the job. I was very impressed when I asked Jim about doing more things he told that he really did'nt think it needed it and would just be taking my money to do things that were not neccesary

Thanks much for the info! Glad your experience with Stocky's was a good one, I've read some not so good dealings here on the hide and since I was going to get the same stock for my Howa, I was going with Shooter's Discount.
