In addition, it is readily apparent that the second driver is not tailgating when the first car skids to a stop. The second car shows up quite a bit later.

Then the woman attacked the man while he had his back turned, walking away from her.

The only question at that point for a court to resolve is whether his use of force against her was reasonable to stop her attack on him. I would have no problem voting not guilty if I were on the jury, but I would be worried a jury may be of the "a man should never lay your hands on a woman no matter what" variety.
