Does anyone know of a company out there making actually decent clothes for petite women?

I have a girlfriend that is a size 00, and I would like to get some decent warm outdoors attire for her, and it is proving to be a real pain in the arse.

For myself I usually turn to Duluth Trading for some of my rugged wear, but their women's dept only goes down to a size 4.

I had a friend who was, I think, around that size, and she bought some North Face stuff and it fit.

Does REI have anything in that size?

Both Patagonia and Mountain Hardware have XS women's sizes but according to my lady friend "XS" in most American brands means 2-4 now days, so watch out for that. According to the same lady friend, for Arc'Teryx and Mountain Hardware XS means 0, however Patagonia and North Face fit a bit loose. Which is okay for jackets but not yoga pants. Patagonia guide pants are very rugged anyway and she wears them to do work around the farm.
You're welcome for asking.

I think that we might need to see some photos to better help answer this question.

Bahaha, not sure about the photos guys. She might kill me for that one. I have some really good ones of her processing our chickens this weekend, but with her hands in a chicken carcass and without makeup, she doesn't understand why I find those photos so amazing. =)

Thank you xtype for the detailed info. I will check them out.
