Sako Trainer optics question?

I'm slowly putting together a sako quad trainer, and I'm needing to get a scope on it so I can start shooting while I save up for my manners and lilja. My budget right now is around $150, what would you guys recomend? My intent is for this to be a trainer for a .308 which is not built yet so I dont' have a type of optic I'm trying to match. Most of my shooting will be done at 50-100 with occasional shooting at 200. Also, would stepping up to a $200 limit do me better, or is that still in the realm of say a tasco varmint? Thanks

4.5x16 any good leupold medium range would work.

don't mean to be mean, but it's been covered over and over...try the search function using cheap scope, rimfire scope, scope under 200, budget scope, etc. as search words. lots of information. look in optics section also.
