Re: sandblasting ???
Your tank isn't big enough to produce the volume of air required. 120 psi is more than necessary, turn your regulator back to 90 and you'll get a little extra time. I've been running into problems with a 60 gallon tank because It's running so much that it gets hot, and the hot air will vaporize any moisture in the tank. The result of hot air is that it is then pushed through the air lines, doesn't get caught in the water trap and when you're ready to spray the Cerakote, the gun will spit some water. Getting a bigger tank and a two stage pump will decrease the amount of heat and result in a beter product. Until I acquire a bigger compressor, I'm limited to only blasting a few actions at a time and I either have to let it cool or do some spraying which doesn't require much air. There's a few ways to side step the problem of water vapor but that requires changing out hoses and not spraying the Cerakote until the air in the tank is reasonably cool.
