I am looking at buying a Savage MKII FV and have noticed some talking about this model in an E type receiver and a non-E type receiver. But I was unable to find out exactly what the difference is between the two. I will most likely be looking to but the barreled action into one of Boyds Tacticool stocks and this is where the question came up. Some said their would be gaps, and others said there wouldn't. Any help would be appreciated. As well, what additional hardwar needs to be ordered to complete the MKII in the tacticool??? Thanks
