Anybody know if I can travel with a scope in my carry-on luggage?
I'm not checking a bag so that's not an option.
Thanks

Tell them its a camera lens. dumb fucks wouldn’t know the difference.......
What about on an international flight?
No issues. TSA doesn't care where your destination is. Everyone gets the same screening to get through into the secure area of an airport.
Your issue will be the violation of ITAR because you will be exporting weapons parts to foreign countries. Unless you have a specific export license from the Dept. of State (hint: if you're asking this question, you don't) you can't even ship weapons parts (including optics, rings, parts, triggers, pistol slides, etc) to an APO/FPO if it's in a foreign country, even though it's being shipped to a military member.
You may also run into issues when you land at your destination and come through their customs control, as well as US customs when you return home with the parts in question.
Ok. So is there an extra form to fill out if a guy is going overseas on a hunt or to a match and wants to take some nice toys?
