So I received an atlas as an early holiday present from the GF! I'm juiced to get it put on as soon as I can so I need to get a rail. Initially I saw that the best way was to use the seekins SRS... After going through most the checkout its gonna be $55 after shipping at all. Is it really worth that? What sets it apart, as a bipod rail, compared to ones that can be had for under $20. Don't get me wrong, I'm not looking to cheap out, but seems like a standard rail will do just fine for this application.
Yes I know they are a forum sponsor and put out GREAT products. What I'm getting at is you don't need diamond edges scissors if all your cutting is paper. Anyone have any suggestions for a less pricier alternative? Or is the SRS really that much better...
This is for a savage FCP-K stock BTW(2.5" spacing).
