Night Vision Shattered the lens in my Pulsar Axion XM38. Anyone from the Pulsar camp on here? Yes, there are pictures for those who like to watch people suffer.

I will start by saying that I’m a dumbass, before anyone else beats me to it. This is not a slam to Pulsar, as I have beat on this unit pretty good with no issues, until now.
Last night I was headed to hunt with a friend 20 minutes south of my house. On the way, I scanned our railroad ditch and saw a pair of foxes. I normally let them walk, but they’re getting thick around here and the neighbors have asked me to keep them away from their chickens. Being the opportunist that I am, I set up on them. Ended up losing them, but turned around to find one out in the field staring at me. Bang, WAP, back to the truck to get my ass to town on time to pick up said partner. In a mindless state I took the battery out of my scanner to set it in the charger between sets, like always. At that time I must have set the scanner in my lap for quick access. When I got to the gas station 15 minutes later to pick up my hunting partner, with my memory as long as my pecker, I stepped out of my truck and heard a POP. It was surprisingly obvious to me that I had just heard the sound of the lens in my scanner exploding off of the concrete. Still powers up and functions great minus the expensive looking lens being in more pieces than it was yesterday. The scanner is one year old, but I’m sure being a complete degenerate is not covered under warranty. My question for you people is, who do I contact at pulsar to ensure a smooth transaction getting this thing repaired in the middle of the season? Surely someone on here has “got a guy”. Just exploring options to compare notes with my dealer before I drop it in the mailbox. Thanks.

If it's any consolation, when I read your OP I got the distinct feeling that you and I could be long, lost siblings.

I do stuff like this ALL. THE. TIME.

Only with items that are generally a tad more expensive than your average Pulsar. 😖
