I recently picked up an SPS Tactical AAC-SD for the sole purpose of shooting it suppressed (most of the time). Shooting with a Saker 7.62 that I've been running on my AR platforms for a few years now. It's equipped with a Dead Air Key-mo mounting system. I don't have a lot of trigger time behind suppressed bolt guns other than occasionally getting behind a friend's suppressed rig. While it was a sweet shooting experience punching ragged holes suppressed, I did notice a significant amount of residual blowback on the front objective lens after the fact. I did apply a light coat of lube on the contact points of the suppressor mount prior to mounting the can, which I do out of habit to prevent it from locking up on the mount, but I didn't anticipate the glass catching that much residual back-blast. Looks like it got sprayed. What are you guys using to clean your objective lens, and what are your solutions/recommendations to mitigate this in the future other than maybe adding a transparent front lens cap? Thanks.

Pure acetone and Q tips. Gently wipe or blow any loose debris off the lens. Some say to not use canned air, but when I worked at Burris repairing scopes we used canned air without issue. Work the soaked Q tip from the center out in a circular motion and changing it often until clean.

I may try it on a scope i have with some suppressor blow back on it. I have tried some windex and some otis optic cleaner with no luck.
