While I'm pretty sure the Hornady 195s would fit, the BC is much higher on the TMKs, but I can't find any OAL data or anyone else running a semi auto. This will be in a Larue OBR and the mag can take up to about 2.835 and still have clearance not to wack the tip (I fit 2.855 in there, but it got tight with more than 10 rounds loaded at once).

Anyone tried these?

I run them in my 30-06 bolt gun and love them.. i have them running about 2725 fps and will handle 1k with a lot wind drift than other bullets i have tried.... everyone i talk to that has tried to load the tmk's in their gas guns has said they couldnt load them to feed from the mag and it be beneficial. They have to be seated so deep to feed that they are getting overly compressed loads or its just cutting into their case capacity too much.. for a gasser i would probably be looking at the 175gr.. especially in .308

I shoot to 1100 yards is the issue and 175s are falling a bit short. In my previous 20 inch REPR, I ran Amax 178s and they worked well, but this gun is 18 inch, so I'm trying to make up for the difference in velocity I'm going to lose, which I was right on the edge before. Ive been looking at the Berger 185s, SMK 190s, Hornady 195s, then was suggested to look at the TMK 195s, but it appears they are significantly longer than the other 3. Ive read stellar reviews about the 185 juggernauts, but at $50+ a box, they are almost twice the price of the Hornady HPBT 195s, and $10 a box more than the SMK 190s... shooting as much as I do once it cools off, that will make a big difference in how hard it hits my pocket book.

Yeah the 185gr juggs are great bullets... but everything with the berger name is pricey, you also get what you pay for. My suggestion would be to buy a box, doca rough load development and try to save 20-30 to test at your intended distances.

One of the local reloading shops has them for $43 a box, Im going to try some out and see how they do!

Thought id update... im actually running the 195 TMKs in my 300 win right now, and the 175 TMKs in my 308. Even stretched to 2.840 OAL (2.850 was scraping the mag when loaded past 5 rounds) its compressing the varget, so I didn't bother trying the noticeably longer 195. I was able to get 2600 fps in Lapua brass without pressure signs, a 5.5 SD over 11 rounds, and a nice tight 1/2 inch group, so ive decided that's the load and dropped the 195 idea! I couldn't get anything consistent out of the 185 Juggernauts with average grouping and about 2515 fps, but at distance the 175s actually were more consistent.

Sounds good! If your getting a 5-6 sd and 1/2 moa then i would for sure run it!

Thought id post these up for fun
